Our Values:
We have Seven Values at Central Fellowship.
People
At Central Fellowship, people are priority #1, and we do everything possible to minister to the needs of people just like Jesus did in his ministry. We try to show love and acceptance to people where they are and move them gently toward the heart of Christ. This value serves as an umbrella for everything we do as a church.
The Word of God
Central Fellowship affirms the Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God. As a non-denominational church, we have members from many different denominational backgrounds. We all put aside our unique differences of tradition and unify under the essential doctrines of faith. The Bible guides all that we do as a church from Biblical preaching to personal quiet times.
Authenticity
Many people in our culture are suspicious of religion and often view it as fake, hypocritical and inauthentic. At Central Fellowship, we are real people. From the pulpit, in small groups and in ministries, we believe that God wants us to be honest about who we are before Him.
Maturity
As we fulfill our vision to reach lost and hurting people, the Holy Spirit takes each person where he/she is and moves him/her forward in faith. We encourage and equip members for private quiet time to support their personal growth. Also, at Central Fellowship, our ministry system is made up of small groups of friends who walk through life together, holding one another up and growing together in faith.
Prayer
Everything we do at Central Fellowship is saturated with prayer. Prayer is the fuel of a healthy church. God is doing a powerful work in this church, and faithful prayer is a big part of our involvement in that work.
Worship
In a marriage relationship, it is so important that each partner spend intentional time communicating to the other their love, devotion and commitment. In a special way on Sunday, and literally all week long we express to our God how much He means to us, how much we love, honor and worship Him. We do this by our words, our songs, and our very lives.
Serving
Jesus said, "I came not to be served, but to serve." If we are to be the "body of Christ" on this earth, we must be His arms, hands and feet. Every day individually and as a community, we are actively pursuing opportunities to serve the needs of people in the name of Jesus.
